Helpdesk

Hi,

we encounter an unusual voltage output:

****************************
Wide-Range-Inputvoltage: 11.931 V
LifePo4-Batteryvoltage: 3.094 V [25%]
microUSB-Inputvoltage: 5.098 V
Output-Voltage: 1.385 V
****************************

The Output-Voltage keeps dropping and the device renders unusable. It cannot be put to live again with the StromPi3 (latest). The SP3 is new and had no problems recently. Only after some period of time (maybe 2 weeks) offline (no ext power) this problem arose.

What can we do?

Hello,

you could try re-flashing the microcontroller on the StromPi3. You can find a manual for flashing the microcontroller as well as the latest firmware in our download section.

If that does not solve the problem, we unfortunately have to assume a hardware defect.

We have the 1.6 CLI version on it and flashed it recently. We'll try again. If it is a hardware defect it does not satisfy me as it is the second encounter of one. Thank you

We have installed the npn-CLI firmware now again (1.73) and the output seems to work again. Wondering why 1.6 (CLI) failed.
