Helpdesk

I try to start the strompi config gui without succes. It worked a half year ago.

I follow the instructions but when I start putty,  minicom starts but I cannot enter the sspc command anymore.

since march this year my laptop was upgraded to Windows 11. The raspberry 3B setup was not changed.

Is there a strompi restart possibillity without opening and disconnecting parts?

Hello Bert,

Are you getting an error message?
It is important that X11 forwarding is enabled in Putty for running the GUI script.

Unfortunately, there is no other way to reset the StromPi except to remove all power sources. The CAP jumper should also be removed for a few seconds.

Hello Bert,

the CAP Jumper is here:

If resetting does not help, try flashing the latest firmware to the microcontroller.
You can find a manual for that in our download section.

I did try first to do the quick start procedure again to try to manual activate the strompi gui.

At the point of     " sudo apt-get install ..........stmflash" I get  " unable to locate stmflash".

Where should this file be situated?

Hello Bert,
I couldn't find any errors when installing the flash software. It should work as described in the manual with the command "sudo apt-get install stm32flash".

If possible, you can also use one of our prepared images, which already has the necessary software installed.
