Hi,
I got a new StromPi 3.
When powering the combination of the StromPi and the Raspberry by providing power via the MicroUSB-Port pf the StromPi only the blue LED of WIDE is turned on while the Raspberry Pi is not powered up.
When giving power to StromPi and Raspberry Pi it is not possbile to either open a serial connection to StromPi neither to do a firmware update.
Any hints? Is there some jumper magic I need to address?

this sounds like your StromPi is in flash mode. Please check, if the flash jumper, next to the fullsize USB port, is set to "OFF". Usually the StromPi should be delivered with flash mode "OFF".
The flash mode is indicated by the blue WIDE LED. In flash mode the blue LED is a bit less bright.

Hi,
in either mode of the flash jumper StromPi seems to behave the same. The blue wide LED is constantly on while the Raspberry does not boot.
